BodyGuard (2010)

 

Bodyguard is a 2010 Malayalam romantic comedy film written and directed by Siddique. Dileep and Nayantara play the leads in the film. It represented Nayantara's comeback to Malayalam films after a gap of four years, and the first time that Dileep had worked with Siddique. Popular choreographer-director Prabhu Deva choreographed the song sequences. The film released on 23 January 2010. It has been remade into Tamil as Kaavalan with Vijay and Asin. It is also being remade into Telugu with Daggubati Venkatesh and Trisha Krishnan,^[1] and Hindi as Bodyguard once again with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, both directed by Siddique himself. Kotha Bangaru Lokam (Telugu: కొత్త బంగారు లోకం, English: A New Golden World) is a Telugu movie which got released on 9 October 2008 on the eve of Vijaya Dasami. The film starring Varun Sandesh (Happy Days fame) and Shweta Prasad was directed by debutant Srikanth Addala under the production of Dil Raju. The movie was dubbed into Malayalam with title Ithu Njangalude Lokam and it became a big success.The movie was remade in Kannada by S.Narayan and casted his son Pankaj and Roopika in the lead roles but was a flop at the box-office and did not created much of a notification among the people in Kannada.

Ready is a 2008 Telugu film directed by Srinu Vytla. It is produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under the Sravanthi Movies banner. The movie features Ram, Genelia D'Souza, Tanikella Bharani, Nassar, Sunil, Chandra Mohan, Brahmanandam and Jaya Prakash Reddy in the prominent roles. The movie was a run away hit and also was a major grosser in 2008. Navdeep and Tamanna made Guest Appearance. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

It was remade in Kannada as "Raam" by superstar Puneeth Rajkumar and was a run away hit. It was remade in Tamil as "Uthama Puthiran" with Dhanush & Genelia D'Souza in the lead and was a success there too though a few controversies rose due to some scenes. It is also being remade in Hindi under the same name with Salman Khan and Asin in the lead.

Pokiri (Telugu: పోకిరి, English: Rogue) is a 2006 Indian Telugu film directed, written, and produced by Puri Jagannadh starring Mahesh Babu and Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles. Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde, and Ashish Vidyarthi play supporting roles.

The film was released on 28 April 2006. After the film's impact on commercial cinema, the film was remade in multiple languages, in Tamil as Pokkiri (2007) directed by Prabhu Deva and in Hindi cinema as Wanted (2009). It was again remade in Kannada cinema as Porki (2010). The film was screened at the IIFA film festival held in Dubai in 2006.^[2][3] The film ultimately claimed to be the second highest-grossing Telugu film of all time^[4]

Magadheera (Telugu: మగధీర) 2009

 Magadheera is a telugu historical drama film directed by S.S. Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind.
Ram Charan Tej and Kajal Aggarwal play the lead roles, while actors Sri Hari Raghumundri and Dev Gill play other prominent roles. This film is currently the highest grossing Telugu film of all time grossing nearly Indian Rupee ₹118 crore and the only Telugu film to gross more than Indian Rupee ₹100 crore. It features original soundtrack composed by M. M. Keeravani, cinematography by K. K. Senthil Kumar and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects.

The story of the film is set in the 17th century, when the Mughals ruled most of India. The film is about a warrior who protects the princess of his kingdom, only to be killed, and born again 400 years later to take his revenge on his enemy. The plot is based on reincarnation, a belief that after death, the soul will return in a new body. The film is slated to be dubbed and released in Tamil as Maveeran.[1] The film will also be dubbed in Malayalam as Dheera set to release in May 2011.[2]
